When the fog glooms out your sunset session and you have only moody beaches and eucalyptus forests. And then it's food for the soul for you and your client. It's like God planned it or something. So I have this friend and she's growing a miracle baby.
It's one of those fantastic stories of a doctor saying 'nope' and a few years later a little life yes 'yep, I can actually.' God is so sweet, you guys. He knows the most tender wants of our spirit and the perfect timing for them to come to be. So thankful for this family and little Phoenix who's making her debut is 5-ish weeks! She is so loved already.

Sarah and I decided to shoot a boudoir shoot for her pregnancy session-- because what better time to celebrate beauty than when it's literally growing inside of you?! We are remarkable vessels indeed. 

Johnathan + Stephanie // Pregnancy

Stephanie and Johnathan are expecting their little girl this March! Currently they live in Okinawa, Japan as teachers, but I was able to sneak in a quick session with them during the holiday. 

 I had the joy of photographing this sweet time of their life despite the unexpected downpour. What do you do when your picturesque plans wash out? You go crash your friends, Boo Boo Records and Phoenix Books in San Luis Obispo and get something even cooler than you hoped for.
